  • The ideal candidate must love animals, feel comfortable around different types of animals and be acute of their needs.
  • Pet sitting is very rewarding work with generous compensation that requires special dedication and attention to the needs of both pets and the people who own them.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Must be a US citizen or have a legal residence
  • Reliable transportation
  • Be willing to submit a background check
  • A working phone with picture taking abilities 
  • Have the ability to conduct pet sits, visits, & walks without supervision
  • Have the physical capability to conduct multiple walks, handle various breeds, sizes, and energies, clean litter boxes, playtime, etc.
  • Be available and willing to work on a flexible schedule during mornings, afternoons, and evenings on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Exhibit strong schedule management skills, communication, and timeliness.
  • Ability to provide at least three personal and professional references.
  • Not required, but it would be preferred for the candidate to have a verifiable background in animal care. (Vet clinic, shelter volunteer work, pet sitting or dog walking experience)
